The largest-scale reinforcement of air defense: equipment worth UAH 143 million transferred to the east

The Come Back Alive Foundation, together with Nova Post, transferred equipment worth UAH 143.5 million to military units of the Air Command East. This is the largest transfer of equipment to strengthen air defense, which took place thanks to their partnership.
All of the equipment together forms a comprehensive defence system that is already in operation in combat positions, particularly in the Sumy, Kharkiv and Donetsk areas, which are under constant attack from the air. It includes reconnaissance, electronic warfare, secure communications, FPV drones, transport and trained crews. These components allow enemy drones to be detected, their signals jammed and destroyed before they can strike.
«The enemy is using reconnaissance drones on a massive scale to direct fire. To detect and destroy them, coordinated work is needed: communications, mobility, drones. We have received all of this as part of the project and can now act faster and more accurately. Our crews are already shooting down Orlans, Supercams and Zalas,»
— says Jin, a soldier with the Eastern Air Command.
The military received:
- 350 FPV drones to destroy enemy reconnaissance aircraft;
- 84 communication backpacks — for fast and secure information exchange between units;
- 28 transport units — to quickly deliver people and equipment to their positions;
- 25 portable communication and control kits — to coordinate the entire system;
- 16 electronic warfare systems — to suppress enemy drone signals;
- 16 radar detection and identification systems — to detect and identify air threats.
The cost of the equipment is 143,552,057 UAH.
Nova Post says that this project has become personal for everyone who lives and works in Ukraine.
«Each of us — Nova Post customers, our employees, partners — lives in a country that is under daily attack from the air. We cannot stand aside when we feel this threat ourselves. That is why we are focusing on strengthening the Air Force to protect the sky,»
— comments Olena Plakhova, Director of Reputation Management at Nova Post.
This is the second large-scale transfer of equipment within the «РЕБнемо так РЕБнемо» project. In total, equipment worth 279.5 million hryvnias has been transferred to the Air Command East and South. In addition, 360,000 hryvnias has been allocated for the training of crews currently working in the field.
We would like to remind you that for seven months, Ukrainians donated to strengthen the air defence, and Nova Post doubled every contribution within the target amount. In total, over 309 million hryvnias were collected.
