This means that as the Sender, you have the opportunity to manage logistics costs more effectively. You simply need to inform and agree with the Recipient in advance about the delivery payment.
How does it work
- 1Determining the payer for logistics services: The Sender must inform the Recipient and obtain their consent for paying logistics services to the Nova Post group company in the currency of the recipient’s country.
- 2Creating the shipment: The Sender creates the shipment as usual, providing all necessary details for an international shipment.
- 3Selecting the payer: When processing the shipment, you choose the "Payment by recipient" option.
- 4Delivery: Your parcel will be delivered to a branch in the country where Nova Post operates.
- 5Payment: The Recipient pays all delivery-related costs via the mobile application or at the branch upon receiving the parcel.
- 6Collection: The Recipient can collect the parcel at a Nova Post branch.

Sender
- The Sender informs the Recipient and agrees on the shipping terms (the Recipient pays for international delivery services).

- What payment methods are available?
Payment can be made online via the mobile application or at the branch in cash or by card in the recipient's country's currency.
- Is the service available in all countries?
The service is available in countries where Nova Post operates, except for Moldova and Romania.
- Is this service suitable for large businesses
Yes, the service is suitable for both small businesses and large corporations looking for additional ways to manage delivery costs for their customers.
- Why is the service unavailable for Business senders
By default, this service is available to all business senders from Ukraine. However, if a significant number of complaints from recipients arise, the service availability may be suspended. In such cases, please contact your personal Account Manager.
Parcel customs clearance
- Invoice value of the parcel: up to €45
The parcel is not subject to additional customs duties (unless the customs determines that the invoice value of the parcel exceeds €45).
- Invoice value of the parcel: €45-150
VAT: 22% of the invoice value of the shipment
For example: an item costs €100. Additionally, the recipient must pay VAT: €100 x 22% = €22
- Invoice value of the parcel exceeds €150
- Import duty: up to 25% of the invoice value, depending on the type of goods
- VAT: 22% of the invoice value of the shipment (invoice value + import duty)
Calculation example:
The goods cost €200. The total customs payments will be:
- import duty = €200 × 10% = €20
- VAT = (€200 + €20) × 22% = €48,4
Total tax charged: €20 + €48,4 = €68,4
The customs office is entitled to refuse entry of a postal item into the country or change the customs payment amount.
This may occur if a customs officer finds a violation:
- The contents of the parcel differ from the list specified in the declaration.
- The invoice value differs from the real one.
- The parcel contains goods not accepted for transportation.
How to receive
At the Nova Post branch

- 1Get an SMS message about the parcel delivery.
- 2Visit the specified branch with the original identity documents and the International Express Waybill (IEW) number.
- 3Provide the operator with the express waybill number and documents.
- 4Pay the customs duty if it was charged.
- 5Receive the parcel and a copy of the IEW to confirm receipt.
By courier to the address

- 1Receive an SMS or email with information about the date and time of delivery.
- 2Have your identity documents.
You can receive a parcel up to 30 kg by courier service

- Width, height, and length shall not exceed 120*80*69 cm
At the partner parcel locker

- 1Receive an SMS or email from an SPS partner with information about the parcel delivery to the parcel locker and a PIN code to open the locker.
- 2Enter the PIN code on the screen of the parcel locker and close the locker after receiving the parcel.

- 2Visit the specified pickup point with the original identity documents and the International Express Waybill (IEW) number.
